All of it was just the beginning of this very special event. Even the King and Queen showed up in all their finery, and the bride and groom were accompanied by swordsmen as ‘honor guards’.
It was delightful, and memorable, and as fun as a stage play, though still with its touching moments representing the sacred union.
The location was the Great Lakes Medieval Faire in Geneva, Ohio, deep in the forest (well, not very deep–but still surrounded by trees), amidst the company of fairy folk of course!
