EVERYBODY has wedding flowers, but do you have any idea how incredibly elegant feathers are for a wedding?
I’ve had occasion to do wedding centerpieces, wedding headpieces, wedding corsages, bouquets, and my all-time, number one favorite: “The FeatherTouch Feather Exchange Ceremony”.
They are unique. They are romantic. They are whimsical. Tasteful. Even majestic!
And the ceremony itself? Intensely personal. I don’t always incorporate it into the wedding ceremony; I have given the Feather-Exchange ritual as a wedding gift to the couple, with instructions on how they are to use it in a very special time and very special place. Some share it on their honeymoon. Others in their new home. Still others, on their 1st wedding anniversary.
For many couples the feather exchange ceremony is the perfect one for vow renewals as well.
Whatever the case…..whether the feathers be part of their bridal decorations, bouquets, or merely symbolic of something deeply endearing between a man and a woman, they should definitely be considered for almost any special event.
And……who doesn’t know just how much fun feathers can be? They tickle the fancy (and other things too), can have quite the dramatic effect when used in a boa, and that’s where I’m stopping, and simply inviting your own imaginations to follow through…..
